Description:
The NC DHHS DPH- Nutrition Services Branch is seeking a short term contractor to serve as a Program Consultant for the WIC Crossroad Project. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the lead and supervising User Acceptance Test (UAT) Coordinator for the North Carolina WIC Program as one of the Crossroads Consortium Project states. The position will contribute to the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of user acceptance testing within North Carolina and contribute to testing across the four states in the Crossroads Consortium.
Required skills:
1.Must be highly organized and have the ability to work with subject matter experts to lead, participate in and manage the NC UAT of the Crossroads application.
2.Demonstrate technical knowledge of web-based application development and support with an emphasis on testing tools, issues identification and resolution software.
3.Must have command of developing and managing testing, including knowledge and experience in use of software testing tools, at an advanced level.
4.Demonstrate a working understanding of planning, developing and execution of test scripts.
5.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6.Experience in using Internet application in large integrated technology environments.
7.Ability to effectively plan assignments and projects, adjust priorities as needed and work on multiple deliverables at the same time.
8.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to a range of audiences.
9.Promotes positive customer service attitude among peers; develops and maintains good relationships with customers by listening, understanding, and responding to the needs of the customer.
10.Ability to communicate with subject matter experts from a wide range of backgrounds.
