The IT team is absolutely critical to the success of EA. To build world class games, it is vital to ensure that EA technology is not only stable but is on the cutting edge. There are a variety of different roles within IT Support, and each comes with its own set of requirements, expectations, and responsibilities. Roles include Desktop Support Manager; Desktop Support Technician/Technical Support; Infrastructure Support Manager; IT Director; IT Technician Systems Administrator.
Enterprise Service Operations, Services Line is a Global IT Team that leverages IT technical leadership, business understanding and partner relationships to implement and support IT solutions (Oracle ERP, Demantra, Hyperion Financial management, Financial Planning, TMS, and WMS) and services for EA business partners and functions, to help them realize their business goals and objectives.
The Oracle Order-To-Cash Technical Lead will provide the functional, technical and project management expertise to deliver IT solutions and services that meet EA’s business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide functional and technical expertise on Oracle Order Management (Pricing, Contracts, Inventory Management, Transportation Management, Warehouse Management) for high to medium complexity projects and initiatives
- Oversees and drives the technical phases of projects within specific application and/or technology area using internal and external resources
- Drive medium complexity projects in project management capacity using EA’s D&I methodology
- Provides L3 technical application expertise (as and when necessary) to ensure efficient day to day operation (inc. month end closure); Oversight and accountability for resolution of outages in coordination with other groups
- Oversee future implementations and/or upgrades and ensure that support standards are in place
- Drive continuous improvement of the Order Management systems; includes development of application roadmaps, standardization of business processes
- Ability to keep up with trends, relevant system development technologies within application and/or technology domain
- Supply guidance to and work with other strategic partners, ensuring regular knowledge transfers and service levels are met
- Work across IT teams and business units to create solutions and participate in initiatives
- Drive initiation, analysis and business requirements with business users for various initiatives
Analysis/Design:
- Analyze customer requests for feasibility
- Provides development estimation and scheduling
- Responsible for technical systems analysis, detailed application designs and system architecture
Technology/Software Development:
- Ensures that development initiatives meet technical quality enter/exit gates for design, development and deployment
- Conducts detailed design reviews, code reviews, and test reviews with developers (and where appropriate the Design Architect)
- Responsible for adhering to consistent development methodologies as defined by the Architecture Council/PMO
- Manage and mentor developers on and off shore
- Implement best practice development methodologies and practices
- Ensures development conformability with IT standards and enterprise architecture
- Manage QA/testing cycles; defect tracking, bug fixes, regression testing
Application Management/Release Management:
- Provides guidance to team on managing and coordinating Test and Dev environments
- Provides guidance to team on managing code – source code control
- Manages through Change Management process and the deployment of solutions to the production environment
- Ensures technical documentation is kept up to date (run-books, architecture diagrams, system information, technical documents)
- Ensures end product aligns with original business objectives, IT strategies and design intent
Job Qualifications:
- Must have 10+ years experience with Oracle ERP /11.x/R12
- Must have 7+ years implementation experience
- Have knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL (TOAD), Discoverer, Oracle Forms, Reports , 6i/2.5, Forms 6i/4.0/3.0/2.3, OA Framework, BC4J, Jdeveloper, XML Publisher, Warehouse Builder
- Have a strong understanding of US GAAP accounting legislation
- Experience with source control systems (e.g. CVS or Perforce)
- Ability to get work done from others
- Ability to work within Global IT and business team
- Ability to conduct complex systems analysis and translate user requirements into business solutions
- Ability to plan and deliver cost effective results.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and manage on and off-shore development teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to balance multiple demands and work both independently and as part of a team

Educational Requirements:
BSC or other related I.T Degree equivalent qualification
