Portal Architect / Sr. Developer ( 2 Spots)
Location - Bay Area, CA
Duration - 2 months
start date - Next week
Only on my W2

We need someone to start Next week at the client site. This is a project to be executed by FL. It is 7-8 weeks assignment which has to be fulfilled in the same timeline.

We will need a candidate with following skills:

1. Extensive experience in Portal 6.x installation, configuration, and migration having completed at least one migration at a large-scale

Client in a clustered environment on UNIX/AIX env.

2. Understands Portal 6.1 architectural changes versus Portal 6.0.x and migration of portlet assets from Portal 6.0 to Portal 6.1 to eventually

Portal.Next Beta.

3. Is confident in researching on Portal. Next Beta release and understand what's new & different as compared to its predecessor 6.1.

4. Portal deployment experience using XMLAccess & scripting, particularly on AIX & UNIX environments.

5. Understands WCM 6.1 architecture, enhancements over 6.0 and migration of WCM assets from WCM 6.0 to 6.1 to eventually Portal.Next Beta.

6. Understands portal architecture and portlet development "best practices" in order to evaluate and recommend changes to Customer's

Existing portal and can come up with a roadmap for migrating to latest version.

7. Has prior experience integrating Portal 6.x with third party Content Management Systems like Teamsite.

8. Has sound knowledge on Portal's Search feature (indexing, crawling & optimizing).

9. Strong communication & presentation skills. Should have ability to conduct workshops with both technical & business audiences.

10. Strong technical documentation skills.

11. Experience in co-coordinating with offshore teams.
